WatermarkVideoClip sample: invalid media type

Hi,

I am new to DirectShow and Splicer.  I am trying to run the WatermarkVideoClip sample, but it throws an exception when adding the image "testlogo.gif" to the timeline: "An invalid media type was specified.".  When I drop the testlogo.gif file onto GraphEdit, it also complains that the "format is not supported".

This must be something really simple that I'm overlooking.  Running Windows XP SP 3.

Thanks for any help and suggestions,

Peter

Fixed.  I ran "regsvr32 qedit.dll" and "regsvr32 msvidctl.dll" in C:\WINDOWS\system32.  Don't know if both were necessary.  And, don't know why this was necessary in the first place.  Moving on.
